A coastal landscape with tall pine trees on a rocky cliff overlooking the ocean, under a clear sky.
Liberté, your aesthetician and proprietress of For Rest on Orcas Island in Washington state.

“I believe in the ancient practice of women taking care of each other.”

—Liberté

As one of the West Coast’s top aestheticians, Liberté genuinely believes her life’s work is to protect and nurture her client’s natural beauty. She does this by creating treatment realms that include skincare that supports the skin’s natural regenerative power.
This approach is rooted in the body’s innate healing response—it is meant to revive, uplift, refresh and honor you.
All facials are free from talking so clients can deepen their experience through breathing. Facial treatments culminate with an intuitive meditation crafted just for you.
A gentle surrender replete with thoughtful touch, generous veils of hydrosol imparting lush “nervous system nourishment ” to cradle you beyond the time shared.

This delicious, embodied stillness creates an immersion in pleasure and, ultimately, pleasure creates beauty.

Liberté has raised two strong daughters, has an exceptional grand-cat (Jolene), had the privilege of getting to know three bonus children and one very adorable bonus grand-daughter. She is also a devoted home cook, a brilliantly funny friend, a devotee of mindfulness meditation and an island resident who loves giving back.
In other incarnations; she was the co-founder of a non-profit community radio station kixp.org on Orcas Island, she has been a shop girl, an independent bookseller, a gallery associate, a voice-over actor, and a rollerskating waitress.

Beloved.

What matters most is how our clients feel when they walk out the door, but we are also happy to share that Seattle Magazine named Liberté Beauty’s Bulgarian Rose Hydrosol Mist a “Must Try Natural Beauty Product.” Vogue chose Liberté Beauty as one of only five recommended salons across the nation in their Ultimate Eyelash Adventure. And, The Seattle Times recommends that everyone “Give yourselves a treat with Liberté Beauty’s Best Friends Facial.”
